Window From the Famous Oxford Shoe Shop
The original acid etched glass from the front door of the famous shoe shop Ducker and Son in Turl Street, Oxford. Est. 1898 closed 2016, the famous shoe shop was founded by Edward Ducker in 1898, made shoes for many famous people including,
H.H. Asquith (Prime Minister), J.J.R. Tolkien (Lord of the rings) Evelyn Waugh (Brideshead revisited). Its archives are held in the Bodleian Library, Oxford. The shop was featured in the 2007 film Atonement.
