The mosaic is after a design for St Johns College, York, 1954. signed and dated on back, Drescha/Spear 1950
Trata Maria Drescha worked for the marble firm Whiteheads, London, and designed mosaic floors in Coventry Cathedral 1956 – 1962.
Francis Spear was a stained glass designer and lithographer 1902 – 1979.
