Rare and Interesting Roman Historical Cards

Rare complete set of early 19th Century Regency period hand coloured wood blocked historical cards. Roman history with case, printed for John Wallis, No 16 Ludgate St. London. Small label on back reads, sold by W. and A. Essex, Bazaar, Soho square. The Bazaar was at 4-6 Soho square, an indoor market, patronised by the Royal family. Closed in 1885.
