Edwardian Period Architectural Gothic Stained Glass Window
Fine quality stained glass window removed from Burn Park road Methodist Church, Sunderland, (known previously as Thornhill Methodist Church). Built in 1902 – 1903 by T.R. Millbutn and J.E. Miller. The Millburns also built the famous Empire Theatre, Sunderland.
The window was designed by Atkinson brothers of Newcastle upon Tyne (1876 – 1930) they produced many memorial windows after World War One. The window was manufactured by Hartley Wood and Co. glass works in Sunderland.
