Bronze Bust by Fiore De Henriquez

Fine bronze bust of an Italian nobleman of the house of Borghese, sculpted by Fiore De Henriquez, 1921 – 2004 known as ‘Fiore’ Italian-British. Exhibited at the Royal Academy and worked on the festival of Britain 1950. Created portrait sculptures including Igor Stravinsky, Margot Fonteyn, Augustus John, Peter Ustinov, John F Kennedy, Vivien Leigh, The Queen Mother and Laurence Olivier. Signed on back ‘Fiore’. Comes with giltwood and painted column. Circa 1945.
