Mahogany Desk, Stamped Johnstone Norman and Co.

Fine quality 19th Century mahogany pedestal writing desk, retaining the original colour and patination. The centre drawer is stamped by the maker, Johnstone Norman and Co. New Bond street, London. Leather writing surface replaced.
In 1891 Johnstone Norman and Co. sold a set of patent circular tables for use in Windsor Castle.
